The Russian delegation (Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation N.Parshikova, Deputy Director of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Sport I.Andreeva, representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation R.Azyavin) took part in the meeting of the European Convention on Spectator Violence and Misbehaviour at Sport Events an in particular in Football Matches as well as in the Steering Committee on the organization of the European Football Championship EURO-2020.

N.Parshikova informed the Steering Committee about the preparations for EURO-2020 in Russia, and made a presentation about the 2018 FIFA World Cup in our country. R.Azyavin informed the participants of the meeting about the main results related to law enforcement during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and shared the experience of organizing international police cooperation.

The participants praised the organization of World Cup 2018. Russian best practicies will be used by other countries while conducting similar sports events.
