On March 13-14, the Council of Europe hosted a regular meeting of the Working Group on the development of the unique joint course "Rights and Obligations in Sport" of the Council of Europe and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). The Russian side was represented by the Director of the European Studies Institute Tamara Shashikhina.

This project is being developed within the Anti-Doping Action Plan which is jointly implemented by the Russian Federation and the Council of Europe. The goal of the project is to develop an open up-to-date legal course for all those interested in legal rights and obligations in sport. This course also tackles the issue of sportsmen’s access to rights.

The course is expected to be presented in June 2018.
